You can find him around the city at multiple theatres like Dad's Garage, Highwire, the Village Theatre, and more performing improv and some of his sketches. He recently closed his show at the Alliance Theatre, "The Magic Negro and Other Blackity Blackness as Told by an African-American Man Who Also Happens to be Black," and also recently closed another show, co-written with Alison Hastings, at Dad's Garage entitled, "U Up?" On this episode of Talking Late Night, Max sits down with actor and improv expert, Matt Stanton. In 1995, Matt and a group of friends founded Dad's Garage Theatre Company in Atlanta. With almost 22 years of producing high-quality improv, plays, and musicals, Dad's Garage has succeeded in becoming, what they aspired to be, "Atlanta's gateway drug to the arts."
We hope you enjoy the show as much as Matt enjoyed his sausage turnover from the Little Tart Bake Shop.
